Hi! I'm Gianmarco, a JSM/MPP candidate at Stanford and Knight-Hennessy Scholar. I'm originally from Mexico City and I'm passionate about law, public policy, history and technology. I graduated from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) with a bachelor's degree in law, and I've worked as an adjunct professor of law at ITAM and as a senior associate at a leading litigation and arbitration law firm in Mexico City.
Throughout my career, I've focused on a range of issues, including access to health, transparency, free speech, anti-corruption, and discrimination. I've also served as external legal counsel for a nongovernmental organization dedicated to public interest litigation.
At Stanford, I'm interested in studying the challenges that communities and individuals in Latin America face in accessing justice. I'm also interested in employing technological tools to streamline judicial proceedings and facilitate settlements. I'm excited to be part of the Stanford Law community, and I'm looking forward to learning from and collaborating with my fellow students and faculty.
